Art Competition and Exhibition

The NMFD rewards our Artists across several categories in our competition and exhibition. It is an opportunity for Artists to sell their wonderful works, and it is well worth seeing the display at this year’s event.

State Ewe Hogget Competition

Held Wednesday, 2 September 2015.

Judging for State competition starts at 9:30am and presentations will be made immediately after the completion of judging, around 3:30pm.

Display Awards

Fleece Competition

All exhibitors are automatically included in the six Display Award Categories, which are judged by independent judges on Wednesday of event.

The display award categories are;

Heavy Industrial Display Award
Light Industrial Display Award
Best Family Interest Display Award
Best Merino Stud Display
Best Non-Merino Stud Display
Off-road, Outdoor and Camping Display Award

Judged on Wednesday, 2 September 2015 with presentations held at 2:30pm, at the Fleece Display.

Fleeces must be entered by 9am Wednesday, 2 September 2015. There is prize money for best fleeces in each category, and categories are: Fine, Medium and Strong.
